The spunkiest of the spate of '90s modernized film adaptations of Shakespeare's works, 10 Things I Hate About You stands out as a plucky rom-com that put some of the biggest stars of the 2000s on the map. When Cameron (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) falls for Bianca Stratford (Larisa Oleynik), it's love at first sight. But the rub: Bianca can't date unless her "heinous bitch" older sister Kat (Julia Stiles) finds someone to go out with too. Cameron's solution? Pay the moody and mysterious Patrick (Heath Ledger) to go out with Kat. Can Patrick win her over and chip Kat's hard exterior?
