Join us for a group ride from Terry Trueblood to Chauncey Swan Park at 8pm, and don't forget to bring your helmet and lights! Look for Bike Iowa City Ambassadors Aaron Stonerook (in a FilmScene t-shirt) and Matt Burkey when you arrive.
You can find a link to the route here.
The group ride is only for before the film. You will need to make post-screening riding plans on your own.
Pee-wee Herman (Paul Reubens), an eccentric child-like man, loves his red bicycle and refuses to sell it to his envious neighbor, Francis. While Pee-wee visits his friend Dottie, the bike is stolen. Led to believe that his bike has been taken to the Alamo, Pee-wee sets off on a trip to recover his bicycle, encountering a charming waitress, a rowdy motorcycle gang, and, finally, the Hollywood bigshot who has taken Pee-Wee’s bike to be a prop in his newest picture.
