Feaster Sunday (2020)

Directed by Brian Papandrea (Spookie Dookie)

Feaster Sunday is an ode to the wacky world of community theatre: where actors drop lines, miss cues, and get MURDERED!

"Feaster Sunday is an odd Easter film that I cannot recommend enough." - Blacktooth, Horror Society

"There is a whole lot of crazy going on in this flick that just made me giddy to watch!" - Tim Gross, Gross Movie Reviews

"A sort of twisted love-letter to amateur theater, anyone who has ever been on stage will absolutely love this movie - but even if you haven't, Feaster Sunday is slick and sick, like a dirty mixture of John Waters and John Carpenter. I cannot suggest this film enough; if you're looking for some disturbing fun, this is the movie for you." - Bob Ferreira, IndieGore

Dr. Gideon Lear (Dustin Mills, Easter Casket) really wants some notoriety by staging a Passion play in a theater known for being the scene of a brutal massacre years prior.  He is interviewed by Eddie, a mild-mannered camera operator and puppet enthusiast.  Eddie happens to run into an old flame, Tess (Allison Maier, Space Babes From Outer Space), who is the lead actress in the show, and the pair make plans to hang out and reconnect.  But when the lead actor playing Jesus goes missing, and ominous threats begin to appear scrawled in blood, things start to unravel... and Eddie and Tess' rekindled relationship is about to turn into something much darker...

Featuring music by Church of the Cosmic Skull, Feaster Sunday is a tense, deranged thriller mixed with a heavy blend of very dark comedy; a throwback to classics like Fade to Black and The Tenant.  A twisted love letter to amateur theater, holiday slasher films, and bad-boy puppets.

Plus a Something Weird short film.
