LOOK BACK (2026)

Fujino is a young girl with complete confidence in her talent for drawing manga who is thinking of putting down her pen, but when Kyomoto, a reclusive classmate whose artistic ability far surpasses her own, begins to take Fujino's spotlight, the two are united through their passionate love of manga and become inseparable collaborators and lifelong friends. Adapted from Tatsuki Fujimoto’s (Chainsaw Man) celebrated coming-of-age manga, this live-action feature from director Hirokazu Koreeda (Shoplifters) follows two young women on an artistic journey together portrayed with remarkable sensitivity and a vivid sense of youth.
