Ice Cream Man (1995)

Directed by Norman Apstein (The Erotic Adventures of the Three Musketeers)

Featuring: Clint Howard, Sandahl Bergman, Olivia Hussey

When a brand new ice cream man comes to town... there goes the neighborhood.

"This tongue-in-cheek slasher film with a bizarre cast of guest stars is the kind of mind-melting experience best encountered late night with as many other people in the room as possible." - Ian Jane, Rock! Shock! Pop!

"There had to be a nefarious scheme involving bogus tax shelters and a film-production covered drug smuggling ring. Was this pitched as Freddy Kruger as an ice cream man? What the fuck is going on here?" - RD Francis, B&S About Movies

"Boy o’boy…This is a weird little oddball of a movie." - Tom Ghoul,

Gregory (Clint Howard), the local ice cream man, just wants people to be nice to him and to sell the neighborhood children his ice cream treats.  Unfortunately, the adults disrespect him, and the kids fear him, so, as any recently released mental patient would do, Gregory begins brutally murdering anyone who prevents him from having a happy, happy, happy day...

The most essential 1990s horrorblast ever made by the director of Edward Penishands, Ice Cream Man is an absurd, gory, and hilarious direct-to-video slasher, punctuated by Clint Howard’s unleashed performance and featuring Olivia Hussey (Black Christmas), David Naughton (An American Werewolf in London), and Jan-Michael Vincent (Airwolf). Fully uncut and newly restored from its original 35mm camera negative!
