Fading television actor Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) is struggling to find meaningful work in a Hollywood that he doesn't recognize anymore, largely opting to spend his time drinking with Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt), his easygoing best friend and longtime stunt double.
