"A showcase for two actors who have long been grounding, realistic presences in films that didn't quite give them this kind of platform."—Brian Tallerico, RogerEbert.com
"Beautiful, quiet, tender, and borne aloft by that rejection of the idea of hopelessness."—Richard Whittaker, Austin Chronicle
"Both Dickey and Studi deliver deeply spiritual performances, harmonizing their gazes and bodily moves in an achingly restrained dance, against nature's mystical grandeur."—Tomris Laffly, Harper's Bazaar
At an idyllic campground in the Colorado Mountains, Faye (Dale Dickey) camps in her trailer. She spends her days listening to birds, catching crawfish from the lake, and scanning her old radio for a station. But most of all, Faye is waiting for Lito (Wes Studi), a childhood sweetheart she hasn’t seen in decades. With shades of the Oscar winning Nomadland, this sweet and quiet feature debut is a long overdue showcase for the two leads who deliver stunning performances.
