Mickey 17 is the latest film from South Korean director Bong Joon-Ho, who is best known internationally for his Best Picture winning film Parasite. Adapted from the 2022 novel Mickey7 by Ashton Edward, the film follows the story of a man who voluntarily signs up to be an "expendable," embarking on an intergalactic suicide mission in an attempt to colonize an ice planet. The cast features Robert Pattinson with a supporting cast including Steven Yeun, Mark Ruffalo, Naomi Ackie, Toni Collette, and Bronwyn James.
