BLAZING SADDLES

"One of the best comedies ever made in the history of cinema."—Danielle Solzman, Solzy at the Movies

"Mel Brooks has come up with his most outrageous comedy to date in the brilliantly funny Blazing Saddles."—Ron Pennington, The Hollywood Reporter

Ribald, tasteless and endlessly hysterical...Mel Brooks' classic spoof of the Western genre pokes fun at everyone and everything. A corrupt governor grants a reprieve to an African American convict if the condemned man agrees to serve as sheriff of a small Western town, believing that new sheriff will only live long enough to serve the needs of the governor and his nefarious railroad-baron backer. Cleavon Little stars as the newly appointed sheriff alongside Gene Wilder as an alcoholic gunslinger and the sheriff's unlikely partner in this uproarious  buddy comedy.
