AMÉLIE

The tale of a painfully shy waitress (Audrey Tatou) working at a tiny Paris café, whose exceptionally whimsical imagination bolsters what would otherwise be an average, mostly solitary life.

After Amélie makes a surprising discovery and sees her life drastically changed for the better, with newfound verve and purpose she dedicates herself to doing good deeds for an assortment of co-workers, neighbors and complete strangers, helping them find happiness in the most delightfully unexpected ways. But will she have the courage to do the same for herself after she meets (and falls for) mysterious street artist Nino (Mathieu Kassovitz)?

From the creative mind of filmmaker Jean-Pierre Jeunet ("Delicatessen," "The City of Lost Children"), AMÉLIE is one of the highest grossing foreign language films of all time; it is also an exquisite, visually stunning love letter to the Paris of one's dreams, perfect for celebrating cinema and the New Year!
